Statement of Faith
by Christine Pope
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons —
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and
fully human. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for my sins, rose from
the dead on the third day, and ascended into heaven. Salvation is offered to
all people through faith in Him, and He will one day return to reign as King.
I believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer,
serving as my Helper. He empowers me to live out my faith boldly and produces
good works in me that reflect the character of Christ.
I believe every person is created in the image of God and
carries inherent dignity and worth. At the same time, all have sinned and fall
short of God's glory, and all are in need of a Savior. Because of this, I
believe every person deserves to be treated with intentional love and respect.
I believe salvation comes by grace alone, through faith
alone, in Christ alone — not by anything I do, but entirely because of what
Jesus has already done. Believing in Him restores my relationship with God,
both now and for eternity.
I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God —
trustworthy, authoritative, and the guide for how I live and reflect Christ to
those around me.
I believe God calls every believer to live a life that
reflects Christ, marked by generosity, service, and love toward others.
I believe every believer is called to be part of a local
church body — a place to grow in faith, connect with other believers, and serve
one another and the surrounding community together.
Faith in Practice
I believe I'm called to serve others the way Christ served —
with humility, generosity, and genuine care. Over the years, I've had the
privilege of working alongside people from every walk of life: different
backgrounds, seasons of life, beliefs, and preferences. I try to listen first
and meet each person where they are. I'm committed to treating everyone with
the same fairness and respect, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Whether we're just getting acquainted or working through the details of a
transaction, my goal is always the same: to show up honestly, listen well, and
put your needs first.
In real estate, I've come to see that buying or selling a
home is rarely just a transaction. More often than not, it's tied to some kind
of life change — a new marriage, a growing family, a job move, a loss, a fresh
start. I've come to see those moments as an opportunity to stand alongside
someone not only as their agent, but as a fellow person who understands that we
all need support sometimes. Over the years, this has shaped me as much as I
hope I've been able to help others. The people I've met and the stories they've
shared have taught me more about resilience, patience, and grace than I could
have learned any other way.
I believe a fruitful life flows from staying rooted in
Christ — daily seeking Him through prayer, scripture, and dependence on His
Spirit rather than my own strength. Apart from Him, I can do nothing of lasting
value; abiding in Him is what allows me to bear real fruit in my work and
relationships.
I believe that as I abide in Christ, His Spirit produces
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and
self-control in me. I strive to let these qualities shape how I treat my
clients, my neighbors, and my family — in every conversation, every
transaction, and every relationship.
I recognize that I am not perfect. I fall short daily, and I
depend on God's grace just as much as anyone — so I try to extend that same
grace freely to others, without judgment. I also need grace extended back to
me, from my clients, colleagues, and partners, on the days I fall short of my
own standards. I'm committed to serving everyone with the same care and
respect, whether or not they share my faith. You don't have to believe what I
believe for me to welcome you, treat you with kindness, and serve you well.

Christine Pope, and aligns with the doctrinal foundation of my home church,
Grace Community Church (Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota, FL).
