Have you ever stood in your yard and tried to envision what it could look like with upgraded landscaping? Me too, so I tried an experiment and here’s how it went.
The Problem:
I admit it, the top photo is my own neglected backyard. No judging please! I haven’t made time to tend to it like I should and it’s become an eyesore. I was out of ideas and needed some fresh perspective without spending a fortune on landscape designers to give me ideas. Instead, I took a photo and went to the internet for help. It got me thinking, if I struggle to come up with fresh ideas, maybe my clients do too!
The Experiment
I took a photo of the yard, uploaded it to an AI and asked it to create a mockup for me of what my yard could look like, taking into consideration my climate and amount of sunlight, the amount of upkeep I’m willing to do. I did not limit the budget because I wanted to see what it would come up with. The top photo is the before, and the bottom concept is what the AI generated based on my photo. It took me 5 minutes and cost me nothing to have the AI create this and get my ideas flowing.
How this Could Help You
Are you struggling with getting fresh ideas for your own yard? Did you know that lush landscaping can increase your home’s value by 5-20% and make it sell faster? I don’t know about you, but that’s music to my ears. I’d love to provide you with something like this for your yard to get the ideas flowing! It doesn’t have to just be your yard, it can be any room of your house that needs a boost. I’ve done this with kitchens, bathrooms, garages, laundry rooms…you name it, we can come up with a vision for it (and a budget!) to make it appealing to prospective homebuyers.
