Boca Grove Condominiums in Lakewood Ranch Country Club has it all…Location, Affordability and Appeal
It’s getting to be a challenge to find properties of any kind in Lakewood Ranch under about $400,000 these days, and Boca Grove is one of the few where they still pop up once in a while. Talk about value! This condo community is within the gates of Lakewood Ranch Country Club, and it’s got the convenience of having a resident-only access gate right off University Parkway. This little enclave of condos has so much going for it; I truly believe this is undervalued given the location, affordability and access to amenities. Plus, they’re built solid and they are just two miles from the new– and very popular — Waterside Place.
Location
Being within the gates of Lakewood Ranch Country Club gives residents added security. If you haven’t been in LWRCC, it’s worth it to stop in on a Sunday and go through some open houses to see how beautifully the grounds are kept and the miles of sidewalk that make for a pleasant stroll along the golf course. Boca Grove is also just 2 miles from University Town Center mall, 2 miles to Waterside Place, 8 miles to the Sarasota-Bradenton airport, 15 miles to Lido Key and St. Armand’s Circle, and 16 miles to Siesta Key Beach. Did I mention it’s also just 2 miles to Whole Foods? Not bad!
Affordability
There are not many places within the ranch that you can truly purchase a property for under $400,000 (I’m writing this in August 2022). Many properties are advertised as being $300k “and up”
but those are new construction and by the time you pay lot premiums and upgrades, you’re easily at or above $400,000 for a condo, villa or townhome. Boca Grove condos hover around that price and sometimes you can find one just a little under that mark.
Appeal
Curb appeal isn’t something we talk about much when it comes to condos, but I think we should when it comes to Boca Grove! Not only are they well designed on the outside, the layouts inside are well thought-out too. With a screened lanai in the back and an open porch in the front of each unit, you’ve got lots of outdoor space to enjoy the Florida breezes. When it comes to condo living, that’s important! Inside, you’ll find quality-built living spaces with open concepts, walk-in closets, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. If you’re lucky, you’ll find a top floor unit with soaring ceilings that give an even more spacious feel.
